Liberalism 101: Who Are They?

In past posts, I have attempted to give you an idea of what a liberal is.  This short list of WHO they are should spark a little thought.

Liberals are generally educated people.  By this, I mean that they have some kind of degree which places them on a higher plane than the rest of us.  They have been indoctrinated by sixties radicals who, teaching at universities, promote the idea of anti-capitalism and America hatred.  The fact that these “professors” also smoke Sherlock Holmes pipes and wear hemp sandals with their tweed jackets is has nothing to do with what they teach.  It just makes them look funny.

They have disdain for people who listen to Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, routinely accusing them of being racists, hate-mongers, and neo-cons who have been indoctrinated by conservative mouth pieces.  These people don’t actually listen to Limbaugh, they just know that they hate him.

Because they so enlightened,  liberals understand things you and I struggle with.  For example, they know that a warming earth is caused by man, even though there is no evidence to prove this.  These are the same people that, in the face of a mountain of evidence, will allow a murderer to walk because a cop used “that” instead of “this” when reading the murderer his miranda rights.

Liberals have a tough time admitting they made a mistake.  After the last nineteen months, you’d think that any liberal who has his brain engaged in actual thought would have a least a little buyer’s remorse regarding the election of Barack Obama.   But, as long as there is Alan Colmes out there to say “Did not!” to any conservative who can actually look at him and not laugh, the deniers will always be out there.

Priorities seem to be difficult for liberals to get their fingers around.  The same people who will tie themselves to a tree to prevent a bulldozer from clearing a site for a factory will demand that abortions be available at every Walgreens.

To a liberal, you are not an individual.  You are a member of a group.  Individuals can’t do anything.  Only groups.  Hillary Clinton said it takes a village to raise a child, which is crappy because I live in the country.  No village in sight.  But by dividing us up into groups, it’s easier to appeal to the group of the day (GOD for short…wait.  Liberals are too smart to have anything to do with God.  Never mind.) and attempt to convince them that collectivism is good, and individualism is bad.

Liberals want to protect you from yourself.  They want to make sure that you can’t hurt yourself with any product you might use.  If you do, they want to punish the company that made the product, by allowing a lawyer to make big bucks representing you.

Lastly, liberals want to make sure that you are not offended.  Unless of course you want a nativity scene on your lawn, or you don’t like what President Obama is doing, or you think that Al Sharpton is a charlatan.  Everybody who is a liberal should never have to hear about God, lower taxes, guns, the rights of the unborn, or any other issue that is common sense to anyone who has actually had a job.

I hope this provides a little insight into the psyche of the modern liberal.  Keep your eye out.  They can easily be recognized by their black panther uniforms and nightsticks.

ha ha ha! pretty funny. I like the “takes a village” part. Really that is their way to argue that you should let the state (village, ha!) interfere in your private business.

Absolutely. After all, a parent raised in a home where the bread winner has a job can’t possibly know how to raise a child better than a government agency that needs another dependent looking for a handout. Sorry for the run on sentence.

Thanks, as always, for taking the time to read and comment. Good to know at least one person finds me entertaining.
